Finally, today I will talk about the national fashion weeks. And, for no surprises, I have to emphasize the summer 2010 of Walério Araújo. He did one of the best collections of the season. I love how he surfs at this ‘gold wave’ and really does a great job. We have seen shades of gold since the last Prada summer collection, but I guess he took a totally different direction and made something original. I also love his unexpected “nude dresses” and the bullet dress. I am not sure if I could wear it, but I enjoy the originality. In an interview, Walério said that the glamour of the gold shades never goes out of fashion…I have to agree with him…Now I just wanna wear some gold shades.
Finalmente, hoy voy hablar de las semanas de moda de Brasil. Y para ninguna sorpresa, voy destacar la colección de verano 2010 de Walério Araújo. Él hizo una de las mejores colecciones de la temporada. Me encanta mucho cómo usa la color dorada, él he hecho un trabajo excelente. Habemos visto el dorado desde la última colección de verano de Prada, pero sin embargo Walério tomó una dirección totalmente diferente y creó algo original. También me encantan los inesperados ‘vestidos desnudos’ y el vestido de balas. No estoy segura si lo llevaría, pero me encanta su originalidad. En una entrevista, Walério dije que el glamour del brillo nunca deja de ser moda...estoy de acuerdo...ahora sólo pienso en llevar algo dorado también.

What a terrific selection! I love all the gold dresses and the shoes in the last pic are incredible. Like you, I also don't think I could wear the nude outfits, but it's definitely an eye-catcher ;-)
Oh and regarding Louboutin: yes, in Paris you can only get those shoes in the boutiques... they don't sell them in department stores. You can get all the addresses from the CL website. The original boutique is on rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau and it's not as busy but has very friendly staff. There's one on the Left Bank which is smaller and also has nice SA's. The newest one on rue Fabourg St. Honore is the busiest, full of tourists and relatively big, but I have the feeling SA's are too busy to care. If you have time, you can go to all three :)

Wow that bullet dress is definitely an interesting number! I love fashion weeks from South America - the designers have a special quality that's not present in Europe, they are not afraid to be simple in an everyday sense, they are not trying to push too far, yet they are very brave, which is great.
